Hi there! I'm Natalie, a recent University of Oregon grad with a BA in Journalism and a minor in Cinema Studies. My main interests are documentary filmmaking and arts & culture journalism, but I am still exploring the many incredible opportunities in the field. I am currently based in the Portland metro area.

 

From a young age, I have had an interest in non-fiction storytelling and the arts. My love for cinema, music and literature has influenced my desire to blend different mediums to tell authentic stories in innovative ways. I have experience in video production, photography and multiple writing styles and have taken courses in media studies, film theory, anthropology and linguistics.

In my free time, I enjoy discovering new music and movies, exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest and curating a collection of physical media, vintage cameras and a lot of sweaters.
